By accessing our website, registering for mixers, applying to pitch, or interacting with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your participation in The Ecosystem Community (TEC), managed by Floatex Marketing Solutions Private Limited.
2. Communication Clause (WhatsApp, SMS & Email)
By providing your phone number and email on our forms, you agree to receive both transactional and promotional messages from us. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Transactional updates, ticket receipts, and mixer RSVPs.
- Promotional invites to future offline pitch sessions, networking mixers, and sponsor offerings.
- Updates, newsletters, and surveys regarding your participation in our events.
3. User Responsibilities
As a member of our community, you agree to the following responsibilities:
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete contact details (name, email, and phone number).
- You shall not use the WhatsApp business channel, email support, or our online platform to distribute spam, unsolicited ads, or harmful content.
- You will not impersonate any individual or entity, or falsely state your startup affiliation or funding status.
4. Opt-Out & Grievance Redressal
We make it easy to control your communication preferences. You can opt out at any time:
- WhatsApp Opt-Out: Reply with 'STOP', 'UNSUBSCRIBE', or 'STOP WA' to any message received on WhatsApp to be automatically removed.
- Email/SMS Opt-Out: Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any promotional email, or contact us directly.
- Grievances & Complaints: For complaints regarding messaging frequency, unauthorized data entry, or other communication issues, contact our grievance desk at support@the-ecosystem-community.com.
5. Limitation of Liability
We limit our liability for external systems and platforms. Under no circumstances shall we be held liable for:
- Any downtime, network delays, or delivery failures originating from third-party networks, including Meta (WhatsApp Business API) or telecom carriers.
- Any unauthorized access, phishing, or messaging scams conducted by third parties misrepresenting our brand.
- Loss of data or business opportunities resulting from your inability to access our communication channels.
6. Updates to the Policy
We may update our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make updates:
- We will notify users by revising the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page.
- For material changes affecting user data or communication preferences, we may notify you via a banner on the website or via an email/WhatsApp update.
- Your continued use of our services after updates are posted indicates your consent to the revised terms.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal actions, disputes, or claims arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
